Homeschool English does not have to be expensive! In fact, if you have a toner style printer you can print up almost any homeschool need that you have right from home. For instance, EnglishBanana offers workbooks, sheets, and even videos for free.
There are many opportunities out there that help you avoid spending a fortune on homeschool curriculum. On my own site I have even shared a few gems to get you started -just head over to the free Examples and Sites Tab on the top of this page and you will find out just how easy it is to give your child a great, and yet cost-effective education.
*My oldest has even been gaining all of her art experience online. Yes, there are free music lessons, language lessons and what ever else you can think of. I've even included some great science areas on my examples page.
So, before you go down that traditional homeschool curriculum rabbit hole this next year, why not consider replacing an expense with an online source? Maybe you could consider using a free youtube channel for one of your classes next year. How about this one: Free Art Lessons
...or, if you are short on time, how about this one: Crash Courses
If you are looking to save money, try switching to one or two Free online classes next year and you will have extra money for field trips and such!
Bonus: Your children will not only love that you gave their eyes a break from reading, but also from the 'textbooky' syndrome! Have them write a paper or two versus taking a test. Have them do further research, maybe an art project, or even a video/blog about what they are learning. Trust me, they will retain more that way anyhow!
Have a great day all
God Bless!
