If you are unfamiliar of what exactly a Book of Centuries is for, might I suggest that if you are a homeschooler you take some time to do some research. Charlotte Mason had all her students keep one. It is kind of like a chronological historical scrap book/journal that the student fills out over many years.
It is not meant to be a through notebook, but a personalized journal that the student fills out any way he or she wishes. A keep sake that one can hold onto for life. One that is highly personal: If handled properly, no two books will look alike
