I couldn't find a Book of Centuries that I liked so I created one myself for the children. The problem was that most had cumbersome lines or designs, were missing the extras that I wanted the children to have, or were one of those print your own deals. You ever notice how those three whole punches end up torn ~grrrr! These books are supposed to be workable and keep-able for years to come. I wanted a keep sake for my children. Something they can take with them, not some bulky binder. I knew I couldn't be alone in this.
Then, a light bulb went off and I thought to myself: why not?
Maybe other Charlotte Mason and Classical homeschoolers are having the same issue as we are? Maybe I should share this with others and make a few dollars to help our household in the process (Lord knows we could use it) --->And I bet you can guess how that went?
No?
I'll give you a hint: It's being released in one week Follow me on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/author/luanneturnage
or Check back here in about 6 days.
Bonus: There will be an XL Version and a Compact Version will be available

Inside my book you will find a no frills, basic chronological notebook, special section for studying the countries of the world, book logs for students to record the many books they read, famous quote pages, extra pages for fieldtrip pictures and such, and even a list of ideas of what to put into book. There is also plenty of room to write the student's name on the spine and on the cover.
If you are unfamiliar of what exactly a Book of Centuries is for, might I suggest that if you are a homeschooler you take some time to do some research. Charlotte Mason had all her students keep one. It is kind of like a chronological historical scrap book/journal that the student fills out over many years.
It is not meant to be a through notebook, but a personalized journal that the student fills out any way he or she wishes. A keep sake that one can hold onto for life. One that is highly personal: If handled properly, no two books will look alike
If you don't want to buy mine: Here's a way to make your own: http://www.layers-of-learning.com/book-of-years/
There are many ways to handle it: Look at this one: http://www.joyfulsocksmom.com/2014/09/no-boring-book-of-centuries-allowed.html
