Attention Homeschoolers: Enter to win in Goodreads one of three Treasury of Centuries: XL Version!

(For a quick peek inside head over to Amazon )

This simple, unlined, notebook is an adventure waiting to happen. Organized in the style of Charlotte Mason's Book of Centuries, this notebook is intended to be kept and worked on for many years. Included within you will find:

Easy, quick start ideas and helps
Simple, no fuss, Book of Centuries
Bonus area dedicated to various countries
Book Logs
Extra Pages to log various experiences: photos, field trips, etc...

Although this has been created to help organize those educating their children in Charlotte Mason/Classical literature based homeschooling, it could easily be used for anyone, at any age.
A great book for history majors, those who love history and love to scrapbook.

*This notebook book is set up to reflect the written record of history which the author presumes history began as Genesis 1:1 states: In the beginning God created…” (Genesis 1:1, KJV). Or in other words: A chronological notebook to record the stages of history, from Adam and Eve to the late 21th century.

*If you do not ascribe to this, feel free to black out the first few pages and replace the headings with prehistory or other schools of thought. The rest of the book would be the same for anyone who approached history, so don't let the first few pages stop you from enjoying this treasure hunt! (less)

Good Luck!

Have you heard about free workbooks at EnlishBanana.com? Or, ar you still trying to find ways to afford next year's homeschool curriculum?

Homeschool English does not have to be expensive! In fact, if you have a toner style printer you can print up almost any homeschool need that you have right from home. For instance, EnglishBanana offers workbooks, sheets, and even videos for free.

There are many opportunities out there that help you avoid spending a fortune on homeschool curriculum. On my own site I have even shared a few gems to get you started -just head over to the free Examples and Sites Tab on the top of this page and you will find out just how easy it is to give your child a great, and yet cost-effective education.

*My oldest has even been gaining all of her art experience online. Yes, there are free music lessons, language lessons and what ever else you can think of. I've even included some great science areas on my examples page.

So, before you go down that traditional homeschool curriculum rabbit hole this next year, why not consider replacing an expense with an online source? Maybe you could consider using a free youtube channel for one of your classes next year. How about this one: Free Art Lessons

...or, if you are short on time, how about this one: Crash Courses

If you are looking to save money, try switching to one or two Free online classes next year and you will have extra money for field trips and such!

Bonus: Your children will not only  love that you gave their eyes a break from reading, but  also from the 'textbooky' syndrome!  Have them write a paper or two versus taking a test. Have them do further research, maybe an art project, or even a video/blog about what they are learning. Trust me, they will retain more that way anyhow!

Have a great day all
God Bless!
