As far as technology goes, my son is excelling well beyond that of anything I can keep up with on my own. If you are having the same problem as we are, this post may be of interest to you. We have found a few wonderful sites that have numerous free computer science/robotic/nanotechnology courses that could take years to complete. They come from MIT and other trusted higher learning facilities. In other words they are taught at a college level...which I prefer as to avoid dumbed down teaching. Some may require higher maths before attempting to complete...and some may not. My 12 year old is using them...so give it a try. You might be surprised.
I suggest that if you are going to use these courses, that you print up completed certificates (you make them) that include the name of the class, the date taken, and any projects completed during the course. These will be very valuable for future career and higher education entrances requirements.
Here is two links to the course lists (and I will include them in the "free section of my website as well).

Curriculum Update
We are really planning to complete a suggested list of materials and Scope and Sequence for K-12 in the near future. However, right now I am in the middle of finishing up a novel and this is the last of one of my children's "Highschool" years. So bare with me. In the meantime, if you have any questions for me, and if I can answer them, I am always willing to try and help. Please feel free to reach out to me, or comment below.
Remember, it is not the amount of money you spend that will educate your children. It is the amount of research you do and the resources you choose to use that matter the most. Truly if money is an issue, a pencil, pad, a library card and the use of a library computer will get the job done.
May God Bless you and your precious babes with tons of love and laughter within your home.
